Goodbye Siesta.
Wrapping up recording with JUSTIN E., no that’s too obvious, let’s say J. EASTERBROOK. New songs, max heavy. Expect some ephemera in the near future.
7”s are in. Special edition copies printed my AMF are sold out. Both bands, AMF and Buzz Records should have plenty of additional copies.
The new splits with Total Trash are nearing completion. Pre-order now, get your place in line to the end of the world. 2012.
We’re home and alive. Trip back thanks: to Xavier and Milo for letting us crash at their house, to Strange Attractor and Millard’s Garage for giving us the best last-show-of-the-tour show we could have asked for, and to Tim Horton’s for keeping us from crashing into guardrails or going off of bridges.
In other news, Mike “Last Punk in KW” D. has done something that I would love to share with everyone. He recorded our last set at Cafe Pyrus, and it does sound pretty damn awesome. That recording device of his is great, great enough to do demos on. Anyhow, here are the tracks, and there’s minimal fuckups though we play the first 2 songs way faster than normal, so I don’t feel at all bad about subjecting everyone else to them. http://www.mediafire.com/?k7sd0q04tpnugjo
We are playing this Friday - the 16th - Crossed Stitched Eyes, Dekoder, Minimum Wage, and Kremlin in Toronto @ Siesta Nouveaux. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=197878120272656
We are also playing this Saturday with Babysitter at Jesse’s house. ASK A PUNK
LAST SHOW IN HALIFAX TONIGHT, PLAYING AT REFLECTIONS, ROCKING FOR DOLLARS. COME WATCH US BLAST THROUGH 3 SONGS OR 15 MINUTES, WHATEVER COMES FIRST. PUNK ROCK!!!!
Polina shouldn’t break up; convince them not to!
Bees & Honey were amazingly catchy, rad, fun and awesome.
I Was A Skywalker provided some super posimental mosh, pop punk warriors.
TiedxDown side-to-sided through dimensional barriers. BAP BAP BAP BAP - BLLEEAARGH
Weak Link hypothesized relationships between straight edge and crucial breakdowns to be “beer’s so fucking dumb, like seriously, what a waste of fucking time.”
Surrogate Activity delighted us with the privilege of allowing us to catch their second-last show before life’s adventures takes them to new worlds with new bosses and high scores to attain. “Cod tongues are to weird for him, right…”
Veneers cooked some of us a really good, awesome, nutritious breakfast, and then took us hiking. Your band is really great too!
Pap Pap played some fantastically catchy tunes, total awesomeforever.
Clocked In never played with us, but I think I Was A Skywalker covered one of your songs, because Rob “Ron” Forward totally Bogart’ed the mic for it. Oh well, always next year!
Thanks to everyone else on the island that we met, hung with, and ate food with. If you saw us and liked it, message us and we’ll put you on the mailing list for the Inner Circle.
